Ways to earn

  • Subscribe: 100 Mason points. Join Mason’s AI Update for useful ideas and notes from my work. You earn this once per email, including if you subscribed before Mason points launched. You can unsubscribe and keep that award; joining again won’t earn it twice.
  • Bring a new reader: 200 Mason points. Copy your personal invite link from the Mason points window and send it to a friend. When they subscribe for the first time and verify their email by signing in, the Mason points are yours. Existing readers and self-referrals don’t qualify. The first invite is remembered in their browser for 30 days, and they need to verify within 30 days of subscribing.
  • Play Mason Bird: 1 Mason point per gate. Sign in and play at masonmayle.com/games. Each verified run earns its score in Mason points, and your first run each day that scores at least one Mason point adds a 25 Mason point bonus (days follow New York time). Runs are checked by replaying your moves on our server, so only finished, real runs count. Opening the game earns nothing, and practice runs while signed out aren’t saved.
  • Buy eligible merch: 10 Mason points per $1. Mason points use the USD merchandise total after discounts, excluding shipping and tax, rounded down to whole Mason points for each order. Refunds reduce the award. Cancelled, unpaid, test, and non-USD orders don’t qualify.

Your past newsletter subscription and eligible purchase history are included. Use the same email you subscribed or checked out with to see those Mason points. If you used different email addresses, each has its own balance.

A few milestones along the way

Your member pass starts at First steps, then reaches In the loop at 100 Mason points, Connector at 500, Cornerstone at 1,500, and Day one energy at 5,000. They’re small celebrations of your support.

What could Mason points become?

I may use Mason points to recognize early supporters with future offers or perks. There’s no promised reward or redemption date. If something launches, I’ll explain who qualifies and how it works.

Mason points have no cash value, can’t be transferred or redeemed for money, and aren’t a token or investment.

Your account

Your email connects your account to your subscriptions and orders. Your balance and activity stay private, and your invite link keeps your email out of the URL. Signing in alone doesn’t sign you up for the newsletter. I may correct errors or adjust Mason points for duplicate, refunded, or abusive activity.
